Lauren joined Susan in the spring of 2007 hitting the ground running upon graduation from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with her degree in Interior Design. Upon assisting on projects ranging from small residential restyles to hotel and spa design, Lauren quickly rose to taking on a more visible role leading projects through all facets of the design and execution process becoming an incredible leader and invaluable member of our team. Her talents and attention to detail set the bar for a superior level of excellence in which she brings to creating unique & special spaces. She listens and delivers!

Scott Brown
Scott has been in business for 25 years focused on service and delivering ideas to well known client accounts in the world of music and marketing. Upon completing his college years at The Evergreen State College he owned and operated a music magazine in Seattle at the height of the grunge movement. Do you remember Nirvana, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam? In 2005, Scott joined Susan in the design business bringing his management skills to the firm while operating the business side of the organization. We keep him quite busy and well entertained. Paul Kendeffy
Paul joins our team with 25 years of hospitality experience. Following Paul’s training at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in New York, he went on on to become a most admired chef of today. Paul shares his keen wisdom and experience through his hospitality consulting company in collaboration with SBDA. With an inventive touch, breadth, depth, and range of experience, Paul shares his expertise offering an extensive menu of services – kitchen programming & design, equipment specification and sourcing, flexible high-function use of space, logistics & proper kitchen service flow, menu development, design, operational structure, and talent sourcing.
